new submission form

I am confused because the submission form I have access to seems to be the old one, just in a new typeface etc. even the typo ' is this for a requests' is still there! There are none of the features I thought from others' comments would be there like facility to save, automatic word count etc. Are some people like me still on the old one?

Weird! Are you accessing it from a bookmark or through the site?

Try this link: https://www.constant-content.com/document/new/

Thank you Eva, I now see that the version I have been accessing is not the latest one, (maybe it's some sort of interim format) because though it appears very different from the original site in type-face and layout, it doesn't have the up to date submission form.

I suppose that's why, although I've been told that submitting a word doc will be ok and it will be converted into plain text or whatever the customer wants, I have just had two rejections because I didn't submit in plain text....I am still confused but hope that if I submit via the real new site, all will be well even if I submit in word???

Also I have been told in the rejection notes that for links I should put in the link html code in rather than a hyperlink, but I didn't know how to do that, so I just deleted the links I had put in and thought what I had submitted was link free. So that's another problem. :?

It is all seeming very uphill just now, but thanks for shedding a little beam of light in my darkness!

No worries! That is unfortunate that you were still stuck on the old submission form. That has to be the reason for your rejections. I don't know how this browser stuff works. Have you tried clearing your "cookies"? heh :P

Also, did my link manage to take you to the newest submission form?

By the way, when using the new submission form there should be no need to actually submit any documents of your own.

I can help you with the linking, but it is a little involved. Instead of making a hyperlink you need to use this code:

<a href="https://plus.google.com/+EvaKurilova?rel=author">Eva Kurilova</a>

Where, instead of my name, you would put whatever words you wanted to be linked, and between the quotation marks you put the address of the site you want.

OR, you can do the much simpler thing that I have been doing. When providing a website, just copy in the entire site address but chop the www. off the beginning.

For example, in one of my accepted articles I wanted to provide a link to this site: http://www.helptobuy.org.uk/find-your-l ... buy-agent/

So I wrote it in the article as this:

helptobuy.org.uk/find-your-local-help-to-buy-agent/

and there were no issues. I actually suppose I should probably be providing the code as well but luckily no rejections yet for what I have been doing.

Hope that helps!
