Hi

If a customer places an offer on my article, and I accept, does the customer subsequently have to buy it?

I had an offer on an article last Friday, which I accepted, but the article has not yet sold. I wondered if this was correct, or perhaps there was a problem preventing the customer from completing the sale.

It doesn't seem that they have to buy after that. I've had a couple of offers that I accepted and were never purchased.

Yes, they send you an offer, you accept and they come back. I've found that personally, if I accept late in the game that they don't normally buy.

But, I've only accepted a few offers, so I'm probably not a good representative of that feature!

Ah OK - thanks for that guys that makes sense. I think I accepted my offer within minutes of the email arriving (although my email is a bit unpredictable) but never mind.

I had one guy buy four months after he made the offer! So it seems they are still out in the ether.
