I've been on CC for a long time, but wasn't paying attention to writer pools and projects. I was recently invited to join two projects. One has a list of six articles to write, the other nothing yet. Does this mean the six articles are assigned to everyone in the project? Is it a writer pool?
My email from admin said that I would be assigned 5-10 articles a week. I received a message from the buyer and a spreadsheet, but this spreadsheet is a shared file and I can't tell if I am the only one and I'm supposed to write them or if they are in a pool and can be picked up by anyone in the project.

Hallo, it sounds as though you are in a writers pool. If so, you can claim requests, which then belong to you exclusively. Is there a 'claim' button next to the articles listed? If so you can claim them if you can submit them by the deadline. Once a writer claims a request, it becomes invisible to others in the pool.
