I submitted two articles - one last night and the other this morning. The one from this morning has been approved, but the one from last night is still under review.
I was wondering if articles are reviewed "first come first served" or if there is another way - or if my first article got beamed away by aliens?
I'm not complaining... just wondering about article approval

Hi,
What we try to do is approve the articles submitted for requests first. Then, we sift through the others. Sometimes there are a huge amount of articles submitted in one day and sometimes there are only a moderate amount.
Unfortunately sometimes life issues get in the way and we can't get the q emptied everyday. We do try but it isn't always possible. If writers follow the Writer's Guidelines, we can approve articles much faster. If not, we have to sift through them as we can.
We spend hours each day approving and rejecting articles. There is no hard and fast rule about how they are edited. Please be patient while articles are under review. We do our best to keep them flowing smoothly from day to day.

Like I said, I'm not complaining just wondering. The article that took a while was for a request (thus my slight lack of patience) and I am still pretty new.
Thanks for your reply, I know you must get extreamly busy sometimes and I apprieciate the work you do!
once again thanks for explaining how it works

If you have any questions, don't hesitate to ask them. I'm always glad to let you know. If you wrote an article for a request and it was overlooked, my apologies. Once we start a certain category for requests, we try to take care of them all. Example: At the moment I'm approving articles for the dog request. I will try to finish them all tonight, though there are a vast amount and it may not be possible.
Hi,
I have a semi-related question about approval. I registered for CC two days ago. Yesterday, I submitted four articles in Word 97 format (.doc) for approval. I checked my account today and the four files were erased. I guess they were rejected, but I didn't receive approval/rejection notification that everyone has been talking about. Is there a limit on # of articles submitted at one time?
Would appreciate your help with this. Thanks.
