Hi guys, a real newbie question here:
I've just set up my first website to promote my writing and my husband suggested having a page called 'Articles for Sale', where I would list a brief summary of each of my articles on Constant and a link to it. Like an extra promotional route to get sales.
Question now - as I'm really new to running my own site - is this allowed? Are there any rules I must follow and can I just use the URL turning up in my address bar when I look at a constant article as the link?
thanks a lot for your help,
Sue
can I promote my 'constant' articles on my website?

Sue,
Sure, you can do this. I know of other authors who have done the same thing. You can set up your page so that when the buyer clicks on thei interested article, it takes them to the url of the article at CC for them to purchase directly.
Some of the authors might have some advice for how to go about doing this and some tips for doing this successfully.

What a Great Idea. . .
In becoming familiar with the site, I've seen many CC articles that have never been downloaded, which I assume means they're unsold. And I'm talking about lively articles that interest me!
I'm guessing that responses to public requests are 100 times as likely to be sold as unpromoted content on CC. So we need to promote, promote, promote.
