There has to be a free way to save a file as PDF...all I'm coming up with is purchasing Adobe software, which I don't want to do if I don't have to. Can anyone help?
Thanks!

I have both MS Word and WordPerfect. While I use MS Word for just about everything on Earth, WordPerfect does have an option to publish as PDF. I haven't used it lately because it's a bit of a pain but it is an option if you have the software.
There's a free onlinepdf place that converts it and emails it to you and a few free downloads on the internet though I don't always trust freebies not to sneak in their little spies and such....

Many applications have an Export option to PDF. Also you can find free PDF applications:
http://www.primopdf.com/
http://www.cutepdf.com/
Also a service online:
http://www.gohtm.com/
Thanks!

Thanks for the PDF tips. I'll check them out. I've noticed that many people don't upload PDF files of their articles, even though it's the recommended by admin. Does it really help to add PDF to the list of versions you upload?

I downloaded CutePDF a month or two ago so that I could start offering PDF files for purchase. I can't really say that the added format has boosted my sales any, but I also can't say that the added file hurts anything either. I would say go ahead: CutePDF only takes a couple of minutes to download and install and, because you're converting directly from MS Word, the conversion itself only takes a few seconds as well.
And who knows? Maybe some buyer will find one of your articles and be persuaded to make the purchase because of your added effort.
