I am trying to upload my first article. I have a Mac and am using TextEdit. After the upload, the dialogue box told me it is an "unknown file RTF" but then says the upload was successful. I tried to "rename" and change the extension to .txt and lost my submission.

Since the upload was "successful" should I ignore the "unknown file RTF"?

Any suggestions? Thanks so much.

It always tells me that, too. It has never caused any problems for me. Welcome and congrats on your first article.
