I'm just getting started on my freelance adventure, and I noticed on the "requested content" board and discovered a request for gift ideas. I was excited because this Christmas I stumbled on a website that was brilliant, and *just right* for what I was trying to find for a very special couple in my life. I immediately thought of this, and wrote an article about it as an unusual gift. However, after submitting my article, I began to worry that perhaps it was too "commercial-like." I know that the good people at CC consider each article, but I wasn't sure if there is something I should do as an author to let you know that I am writing for a specific request. I'd appreciate any feedback, as I am anxious to start getting my work up and viewable!
