Onlywriting,

You only need to have a PayPal account (email address) to get paid. CC does not need/send invoices. They pay at the beginning of the month, as long as you have at least $50 in your account.

I hope this answers your question.

So if you don't reach that balance, you have to keep gaining for months ahead until you do get $50 in your account, right?

The_Anomaly,
Yes, Here it is from the Writer's FAQ:

What does the $50 payment threshold mean?

In order to get placed on the next payment cycle, you must have earned at least $50. Once you've reached this threshold, you will be paid on the next payday.

When is payday?

We pay once a month, at the beginning of each month, provided that the customer's payment has cleared. Occasionally, we send out payments more often at our discretion. Consider this a bonus payday.
