Choosing a "subject" for this post is about the hardest thing I've had to do today.javascript:emoticon('8)')
My first article sold yesterday (usage) (Yeaaahhhh). I went to the purchaser's website and printed it. Today, I went back for a visit and the site has changed the photo that goes with the picture - which is a good thing. The problem is the article now has a serious problem with spacing within the sentences. Several words have run together.
Its a beautiful site. I'm betting they haven't noticed. Is there a suggestion for what I can or should do?

I know... I've had the same thing happen with one of my articles too. I'm not sure if it's actually in use in the site yet, because I couldn't actually find it from the links on the site, but a search in Google found the page for me.
The spacing is all messed up too for this one. I had sections, all with different headings, and now on this page, they all run into each other, and the starting points for the paragraphs are all messed up.
I'm not really sure what to think about it. It makes the article really unreadable, but I suppose the webmaster should check that the articles are working correctly after they post them.
I'm not sure if this one that I'm talking about has checked it, or cares, because I've gone back to the site like a month later, and it's still all messed up.
I'm curious to see what other people think should be done (if anything) in a situation such as this.

article formatting
I guess this is another good reason to be a ghost writer. This has happened to me many times. I just let it go. The site owner or webmaster is responsible for what their site looks like. We can't help it if our article is not formatted right. I don't think it looks bad on us unless we own the site too - then it looks bad on us.
Just a thought!

nessiee and candice, I agree with both of you. After looking around at various websites, I see lots of spacing problems.
As to real name, I really appreciated cc taking our real names off the site. Some years ago, online, I 'signed a guestbook' for my graduating class. It was the year the movie Life is Beautiful won the Oscar. In my guestbook comments I mentioned the movie in relation to my real life. Now, if I google my real name, that post is the only thing that comes up. Would never do that again!

Forums
I think it's wise not to get too personal anywhere online - especially in a forum or guest book. These are usually open for everyone to read even if they never join. And, they're picked up by search engines easily - not good!
