I just want to make sure that I am doing this right. This is the first time that I have tried to respond to one of the public content requests.

1. Do you just go to the q/a section from the request page and post your article reference number and short note to the requestor? This is what I did, but there is no way to tell if the submission made it to the right place.

2. Also, is it appropriate to set your pricing at the level of the requested content payment offer listed on the request page?

1 - Yes, this is the way to respond to a public request. The customer may purchase, reply, or not purchase or not reply. You just never know!

2 - Pricing is up to you. Sometimes the customer may be willing to pay more for articles; sometimes he or she is on a tight budget. You have to price your articles in a range that is right for you.

Thanks for the quick reply. I have used the best offer option on this article. I would guess that would cover me if the buyer was interested but needed a better price. Is this a good assumption?

One of the writers will have to answer this question. I'm not sure how often customers use "best offer."
