Payment question

I'm just wondering if, since the end of the year is coming up, it is possible to get the money I have in CC right now paid to me? I haven't reached the threshold, and admittedly I have no "real" reason to get the money other than the fact that it's easier for me to do the accounting stuff that I need to do at the end of the year.

Is it possible to do that? Or do I have to wait until I reach the payment threshold?

CC really discourages the request for payment before the threshold has been reached and before the payments go out around the first of the month. This is a busy time for everyone, and their finance books - even CC.

Please refrain from doing this except in the case of an emergency.

Thanks,
Ed

Also, it seems that if the money does not show up in your checking account utnil the first of the year, you can save it for next year's taxes.

Really? I didn't know that (about the taxes) maybe it's different since I live overseas. I'll have to ask.

Thanks!
