Citing sources

Hello! I have an article that I've completed, but haven't submitted it because I have a few questions regarding citation. Three of my sources for the article are from websites. I understand the policy about not including links in the article text, but I need to give proper credit where it is due. Do I cite the source within the text simply using the address, but not include the http://www. ? For example, may I say (joe.com) ?
Also, when including an authors name from an online article do I cite the site and include the author's name..For example, (Joe.com-Richard Henry)?
I haven't seen this covered elsewhere, though I may have just missed it, any help here would be greatly appreciated!
