Hi - a question... do requesters have access to the forum we writers use? Can they "eavesdrop"?

Yes. But they probably don't.

I wish they did so we could get their input at times....

OK, thanks. (Wasn't sure if you were on the forum today). So my question is, I received a private request to supply more content for the Top Solutions web site. They said they want to purchase my "About Us" article from yesterday, but I'm not familiar with the "unpaid" notation in my "licenses sold" page. Is it advisable to do more work before it shows "paid" - is this a common thing? Thanks.

It just means it's in their "shopping cart" and the payment hasn't cleared yet. Sometimes, if a customer pays with PayPal eCheck or some other method, it takes a few days to clear.
Private requests are good things, I won't blink an eye....besides, we write on spec all the time.
