Is the referral system still active?

I found my referral link BUT I don't want to refer a bunch of people if I won't get the commission and they'll just be competing with me for sales. Can CC (or anyone who has used the referral link recently) confirm that it is still active?

Support advised me back in February that the affiliate program was no longer active.

Oh, how disappointing. I have a huge number of referred writers who were doing really well. I wondered why I hadn't seen some excess payments from them in a while. Now that I've seen this, I guess I'll stop promoting CC to other writers with my affiliate link included.
