Web Site Link Question

I have an article on pop music I was hoping to submit to CC. I had one writer look at it, and she noticed I left out a link. I know the rules on website links for CC. She thinks it would be okay unless it's a real link. But would just giving the address be wrong? For example, would saying popmusic.com be a bad thing? I just wanted to make sure I did this right. No need for another rejection.

Please do not submit articles. Your account is still under suspension.

My account is no longer suspended. I can log in. I sent an email asking for one more chance. I think I have improved as a writer in terms of organization and clarity since then.

Does anyone know the rules on this? Should I not put any website addresses into an article? Or should I just avoid leaving embedded links?
