Two questions

1. How do I change the category that an article is in? Do I need to delete and resubmit the article to do that? (Related: I guess an article can't be listed in more than one category?)

2. I see some references on this forum to how many times an article has been viewed or read. Are those stats available? If so, how do I access them?

Thanks so much!

1. I'm not sure we can - it may be that just Ed can. I know I've submitted articles in one category and they got switched, I assume because it was a better fit.

2. Go to Your Content, find the article, select "Edit" and scroll way down to the bottom - it shows your views.

Cheers!

Another nifty trick, you can reset the page views. I've used it to track changes in my short summary and price adjustments, to see if it illicits more interest that way.

How do you do that?

Put the cursor in the box and type in whatever number you want it to be.

I frequently reset mine to 0 each month after writing down what it was the previous month. Silly I know, but I like numbers...... YUM!

On question 2:
Thanks so much, grouchy and Elizabeth Ann West! It worked. :)

Can you tell me the title of your article and what category you'd like to see it in?

Title of article: "How to Resist the Redecorating Craze"
It's presently in Home Improvement.

Could you switch it to Humor, please?

Thanks loads!

I can, but I honestly think it's better in Home Improvement, as this is a more popular category.

Hmmm, I hadn't thought of that. It just seems so offbeat from all the other home improvement pieces.

But if you think it will do better there, then leave it by all means. And thanks for your input!
