Changes to Article Once Accepted?

Post by Shannon Christman »

I think I saw this question posted before, but now I can't find it, so I apologize if I'm duplicating:

I wanted to make some changes to an article that has already been approved and posted. Through "Your Content," I made the changes in the long summary, but the uploaded article and word count are now different.

Do I have to resubmit to make those changes consistent?

Thanks!

Yes, you have to resubmit, but you can include a note in the short summary (that you can later remove) that says something like, "Previously accepted article resubmitted for edits."

Thanks,
Ed

Yes. The customer will likely download the document rather than cut and paste the text so you must delete and resubmit. Just put a note to Ed that the article was previously approved and what was changed so he can quickly scan the changed sections.
