Is it ok for us to submit a well rewritten copy of one of our already purchased content, with any new information added, etc. It will help many authors concentrate better on what they might have missed the last time and make a better sale on the article. What do you think?

No. Please concentrate on new topics and new articles. What you propose creates too many opportunities to plagiarize yourself.
