Do these articles with an unpaid status and "order being processed" ever actually sell? It seems like whenever I've seen this with my content the articles revert back to unsold status--should I expect this, or is there hope? --J

Sometimes these articles land in the customer's shopping cart and never get paid for. Other times they have paid by check and the check has to clear before payment is completed. At least this is my understanding of the situation.

They may or not go through. There are several reasons why they are not paid immediately. It may be a check or a credit card that needs approval. The articles are not released to the client until the payment clears, so you don't have that to worry about.
