Recent articles sold

Post by AnnM »

Hey Chris,
Looks like you made the "recent articles sold" table longer. Very nice. I like it! Only thing is you might want to change the text at the top to not say the most recent "15" articles since it is now more than that?

Also, spotted another grammatical error. On the requested content form, you have a field labeled "Amount of articles". It should actually be "Number of articles" to be grammatically correct. Number should be used for items that can be counted; amount is used for things that cannot specifically be counted.

:)

Longer is better. The more information we have regarding what is selling or what has sold, the better off we are. The articles we can upload in those areas can only improve the site, attract more buyers and make us all happy.

I like the changes too, Chris. They're really helping us know the demand of the site.

A possible suggestion for us writers....

We can examine the free downloads to get an idea of topics in demand also. Just because some are being downloaded free doesn't mean there aren't buyers looking for these same subjects to purchase for their own content. We might benefit from this tremendously and be able to broaden our writing to these categories as well - especially when requests are low.

Anyone have any thoughts on this? :-)

Thanks!

I thought about the same thing the other day! I know that there isn't a site like C-C and we are pioneers y'all. LMAO.

I believe it may be a long shot because they are lots of people looking for free articles but it's one of those, 'ya never know' type of deals, it's possible.

I do like the fact that we can see them 'go' though, I guess we'll soon see if those benefit us or not.

The only downside to it is that if there are lots of free content downloads it may turn away potential writers. If they see the board on a bad day when free content rules thinking they can't make a buck.

I'm just trying to hang, we've got some really, really good writers here!

Just wanted to add that I really like the fact that you've now added a separate table for the free downloads! :D
