Requested Content Emails
I know we had this problem a couple of months ago--but I'm not receiving all of the article requests to my email anymore. Is anyone else having this problem?

How do you know you are not receiving requested content (this seems like a "duh" question but...)? It seems that many of the articles selling have not been requested through the email channel .
What I see selling is a lot of gardening, health, pregnancy and travel. I have assumed these are private requests directly to a specific author(s) as these requests are not showing up in Requested Content. Many articles selling but only a few showing up.

just because they are not in the requests section doesn't mean an article will not sell. Many customers are subscribed to special categories, so if you write an article on a category a customer is subscribed to and they like it.... Well, they will purchase it. This is the case for many categories...
Off the top of my head I would say articles on:
gardening (mainly garden products that will sell, fountains, gazing balls, paths, sundials, etc).
Scrapbooking
Pregnancy maybe Parenting
Gift baskets
Petrified Forest National Park
2006 auto reviews
Credit Cards, Mortgages, credit, etc
Vitamins
Herbal health

This is good information. I don't think I realized a customer can subscribe, but I did know that a customer can go to a specific author. I completely understand this. When I read the initial post, I realized that I might not know a request was out there if it didn't show up in my email.
I appreciate your input on timely topics and with customers "subscribing", I can think about my submissions differently.
I'm sure I missed the subscription info. somewhere on the site. There's lots to digest here for a new content writer.
Thanks for your reply.
