Some fault facts/trivia being written

Post by Blueshadow »

I've notice a few tiny fault fact being written in some article in the trivia and facts section. I'm not going to point finger but i just want you all to be accurate about the facts when you write. I'm a frequent buyer of the articles in that section and i would hate to put some of those wrong facts on my website.

Hi Blueshadow--
Thanks for the feedback--I think everyone is glad to receive it from customers.

I, personally, have come across two or more sources where the "facts" seem to contradict one another. What do you think is the best course of action in that instance? Leave it out all together or choose the version of the fact that seems agreed upon by the most sources?

Thanks,

Blueshadow,

I've rejected several trivia because they had incorrect facts, but I don't have knowledge of all the facts, of course. I do keep a wary eye on the facts and trivia and will continue to do so. Thanks

Verify Facts

Post by candicep »

Hi,

A great way to verify many facts is to look them up at http://www.encyclopedia.com. You can find out a lot by using their search feature.

Hope this helps someone! :-)

I use Wikipedia, an online encyclopedia to verify my facts. I depend on them to be correct, but any source can be wrong. I always check my facts at multiple sources and if in doubt, don't include them in my trivia.

I think every writer in here should do the following when writing for the facts and trivia section "choose the version of the fact that seems agreed upon by the most sources".
