This system needs little work

Somehow the writers need to know how many articles have submitted to a request.
I have open requests but dont want to close them because I have not had a chance to review the articles & I like having them available for me to review,
If I close out the request I will loose the convience of having the articles available for me to quickly see.
I know you guys work hard for your money and obviously the more articles that are sent to me the less likelyhood that they all will be bought.
some sort of orginization is in need here- a counter so if your going to try and article you can hit the counter so other writers know how much competition they have

I don't think this will work... If you saw the counter at 4 would you be less likely to work on the project? A counter is not going to stop a writer from writing an article on a request. Then this will become a race to the counter instead of producing the article in a timely matter for the client.
The way I see if you don't buy the content it adds to our selection of content which brings in more clients. If content becomes large in a particular category, we have people that will go out and sell that content. If you don't buy all the articles Constant Content will try and find those articles a home.

So your saying an option to close the request but keep it alive for you to see would be nice? Or maybe a way to add articles to a favorites list or something to that effect...
Yes

Hi BigDaddy,
I've thought about the 'closing' option too. It would be nice if the system would show a lock or display 'closed' , 'temporarily closed', 'reviewing' or something. I think it would be nice if there were a few choices for the buyer to choose from because sometimes the request area does get rather full and then it's confusing to figure out the ones that are open or filled.
I don't like the counter idea those, that's a little depressing for me because I already realize the competition, lol. We have lots of new writers!
I do have one more suggestion though about 'time'. It would be nice if we knew when to expect a purchase.
"I'm looking to fill this purchase within":
*the day
*2-3 days
*1 week
*2 weeks or more
*Ongoing
That way we know when to hustle or know when to take the time.
Just my 2cents for today!
Thanks,
LJ
PS. Have you read the 'newsletter' thread???

Dont"t get me wrong I love your service. Just providing feedback. Under the my requests/questions area
I could answer one question then when i would try to answer the second then i would kick me off in to lala land. Either the page requested not available or blank page. So The only way I could figure to answer the questions is to go back to the my requests-my questions answer one question then go back do it all again for each question. I tried shutting off my firewall to see if it helped( it did not).
I am just bringing this up because I dont know if you know this or not

I love the feedback.. Writers have provided most of the feedback and our responsible for most of the changes here. I get feedback once in a while from customers but not as much. I'll look into those issues you having.
Thanks
