I've really enjoyed reading the submissions for this request. Obviously, the women writing these articles have already learned how to say that important little word.
And for those of you whose articles don't get purchased for this request, I do think the topic has long-term and broad appeal, so just hang in there; these articles may still get purchased by someone else.

Re: Learning to Say "No!" Request
Saying "No" seems to come naturally with motherhood. For some mothers, anywhoo. :)
The issue at hand seems to be how to say "No", and actually stick with it!
As head of the Self Deprecation League, I must say that my sub. was very blase' compared to all the others I read. I was so afraid of bullet pointing, that I fear I probably overgeneralized the issue. O well.

I think the different perspectives on the issue were pretty fascinating. Some requests are pretty straightforward; this one obviously struck various cords in the female writing community, which made for some pretty heartfelt responses.
