Hi Everyone,
I just received a Google alert and now I'm wondering if I did something wrong when I signed up for the Google alert. The article that was brought to my attention is definitely not mine. The article in question appears to be an academic paper, but contains the words: here without being and writer and therefore came to me as an alert. This is the phrase from the email, "beg you to find out the last day I can remain here without being caught. ...... authors of the period. Her unique value is as a writer of Latin drama..."
Has anyone else had this happen? Any suggestions what I can?
Thanks!
T

Re: Google Alert Confusion
When you enter a Google alert, put your phrase in quotation marks. That way, it will limit results to the EXACT phrase rather than results that have variations of your keywords within webpages.

I'll give that a try. Thanks for the response and advice, Celeste.

I also had a Google alert that I didn't understand, so perhaps I need to do that too.
