Another Article Thief at AC
I just found one of mine here: http://www.associatedcontent.com/user/4 ... rdahl.html. (Plus another which may have been legitimately purchased). There are another six on the page, so you might like to make sure none are yours.
Re: Another Article Thief at AC
Jak, if you haven't done so already, please email Support with this issue. Thanks!

Emailing support now. Everyone should check ALL of their non sold titles... seriously. Just copy and paste it into AC and see what comes up. Most crooks don't even bother to change the title....
Goodness this is turning into a neighborhood watch program LOL

Re: Another Article Thief at AC
This must be a ring of content thieves. I'm going to see what a Google search brings up for "steal content from Constant-Content and post on Associated Content" (or similar). I wonder if there's a black hat article out there telling people to do this.

Re: Another Article Thief at AC
I think there is something about the dates too... I noticed the article that was stolen from me posted here on 2/18/2009.
I would also suspect perhaps RSS abuse... and I'm not condoning the people doing this, but given the ridiculously odd response I got from the last thief, and my thief started 1/30/09 at AC it's possible, not probable, someone told these people this is what "everyone" does in the world of web writing... again not condoning it but there are people desperate for money right now....
So about starting that neighborhood watch program.... LOL.
