What's On Your Screen This Week 3-20
What's everyone writing this week? My week is promising to be a little unpredictable. My father-in-law is in the hospital w/ pneumonia and my son only has a 3-day week at school but I'm trying to continue my series of herbal profiles.
What's on your screen this week?

Why, hunky men of course!
Can't resist the call for articles about hot and sexy men. Just wrote one about Fernando Alonso the F1 Race Car Driver. Whew!
Also did a few computer security ones this morning. We'll see.... lots of requests out there right now but fairly low budget ones. Hope your father in law gets well soon.

Who knows? They may be waiting to make one large purchase with tons of articles. I know I would prefer to do just one transaction with everything I need rather than 1 or 2 a day.... or their idea of urgent might mean within a week or two...
I'm not terribly inspired this week, I've been working on a huge fundraiser for a friend with a brain tumor all week so that's where my energy has been focused. But I'm hoping to get my act together and get busy on some of these requests

I've only had some moderate success with a few travel articles, but I really enjoy writing them so I think I'll be going to Norway this afternoon. I stick to a few main subjects when writing but I like to jump around a lot between them to keep things fresh.
My true love would be to write book reviews all day long but I've only sold one or two. I hope that area sees more traffic at some point.
Otherwise, I'm just glad to see the requests begin to pour in. Some days its nice to have some extra direction

I know what ya mean, Young. I've only submitted one book review here because I didn't think there were many customers interested in book reviews, though it doesn't hurt to submit them in hopes of someone one day being interested, now does it?
I recently submitted an article that I actually wrote so many months ago and completely forgot about it. Apparently it was hiding in a folder on the computer that rarely ever gets used. It's an article focusing towards women in the work place.

Ha, that's funny about book reviews. I've been reading a monster book, I swear it weighs 30 lbs, and have been wanting to write a review of it. But I can't finish the darn thing. It's like 3000 pages or something. I started reading it at Christmas and am only halfway through it! At this rate, I'll never write a book review.

Breath of Snow and Ashes by Diana Gabaldon.... it's part of her Jaime and Clair saga - time travel/romance/adventure story. This one is a little tedious, hard for me to get into. I was hoping it would be one that once you start reading you can't put it down but so far it's not like that. Besides, it weighs a ton! By the end, my biceps will be bulging.
And people think that we book lovers never get any exercise *grins*Celeste Stewart wrote:Besides, it weighs a ton! By the end, my biceps will be bulging.
Ever had to take an English class with a prof. who likes Norton's Anthologies? Oh. Wow. I had a PAPERBACK 800+ pager a couple of semesters ago. Whew. I got a cardio workout three days a week just lugging that beast to and from class in my backpack. *grins*
Lol, wow, Celeste. I hope that book turns out to be good some how at least :p.
Rofl, very nice. Just for the record, I'm a book lover and go to the gym on a daily basis when I can. That's gotta count for something, right? >.>Sarah81 wrote:And people think that we book lovers never get any exercise *grins*
