Potentially stupid question
I sometimes write articles about equestrian stuff. Would people say I should put them in Animals or Sports? (There's no Horse section. I'm leaning towards Other Animals, but wanted a second opinion).

Hi, Jenna.
It would depend on the main topic of the article. If your article is, for example, something like "Training Your Horse for Endurance Riding" (forgive me, I have zero equestrian knowledge), I'd file that under the "Sports" category. Another article, "Nutrition for Your Horse", would be more appropriate under "Animals".

Okay. I'm just worried about black marks against me for rejections because I and the editor disagreed on the category.

I don't think this would count towards the 3-rejections-and-you're-out rule. The suspension rule is more on the quality of writingJennaP wrote:Okay. I'm just worried about black marks against me for rejections because I and the editor disagreed on the category.
