Approval Times

I saw the post about the delay in approving articles, but I have a couple of quick questions. Is there a process for how articles are approved (ie -- is it first come, first served or do experienced writers get priority over new writers)?

Also, outside of technical difficulties, what is the average time that it takes for an article to be approved. I saw in another post that it can take up to 3 days. Is that the norm or the exception?

In my experience, it's up to three days, usually faster. It's also first come, first serve. Sometimes it will drive you nuts because it seems like there are days that things get approved lickety-split, but the day you need somethign to go through it takes forever. they are fair here, though, so keep that in mind!
