I was discussing the "rights" with one of my affiliates & found two typos on the FAQ page. One in each of the paragraphs below. The 2nd one is the location of the chart is "BELOW" the statements not "above" it.
************************************
What is a Unique Purchase?
A Unique Purchase is when you buy outright the information desired. Then we will withdraw the option of someone coming down the line and purchasing it as well (it is removed from the Constant Content.
What is a Full Rights Purchase?
A Full Rights Purchase is when you buy outright the information desired. Then we will withdraw the option of someone coming down the line and purchasing it as well (it is removed from the Constant Content). You also own this content and you can change the content, resell the content, take credit for writing, etc. Please see the above chart for what you can and can't do with each licenses.

Also, it mentions free content still available??
I was wondering when you sell an article "unique" is it automatically removed from CC like the "full" rights is? Just curious! THANKS FOR THE HELP!!!

Another question about rights: I have only sold fullrights on all my articles, so I have NO experience in the others. When someone buys "usage", does CC automatically remove the option of "full" or "unique" rights or does the "unique" stay & only the "full" is removed?
OR is it all up to the author to remove them? & when?
THANKS!!!!!

NO replies??? Doesn't any one who has sold unique & usage "know" what happens???? My affiliate & I are still not sure, how usage & unique work - concerning removing the other buying options after a usage sale or with unique, removing the article all together. Is this done by CC or author????
I see A LOT of authors sell both usage & unique of many articles & figured one of them would reply by now.
THANKS!!!!

Usage articles remain available for purchase after someone buys usage only. Either the original buyer can later upgrade to full rights or someone else can come along and buy it with the understanding that it's been downloaded previously. This doesn't seem to happen often but I can see if it's for an ezine or something, they might not be as concerned that it's posted elsewhere.
Unique sales go away because of the nature of the rights -- the customer gets exclusive use but can't edit it.

Celeste,
OK, I "think" I got it:
Usage rights sold -- keep the other two options, but the new buyer "sees/knows" that is has been sold already when they buy it? OR the original buyer can upgrade to unique or full at a later date? We - the author, do NOT do anything or remove any of the options (unique or full) correct???
Unique rights sold -- are taken off CC, but the buyer can NOT change the name, author... AS a full rights can?
I guess the big difference in the unique & full is the fact that full rights can
1) resell
2)take credit for it
3)remove authors name
4) use it more than once
I wasn't getting the differences & the removal of the articles. I still think I will price many of mine the same on those choices. If it's going to be taken off CC, I would rather get what I really want for it. I'm not real worrried about my name being on it. I have only sold full rights, but I am sure "my day will come" when I sell the others. I was trying to explain it to one of my affiliates & I got more confused myself!!!!
THANKS Celeste!!!!
Let me know if I do understand it or not!
Let me ask you this: why sell an article for unique & not full rights???

Sounds like you got it.
I prefer full rights myself though unique has its benefits if you want a byline. For example, having a byline on a big website is pretty cool for name recognition and as a published clip to show potential customers/employers. Also when someone googles your name, if it comes up at a well known site, that can build your credibility - though I suppose if it's at a sucky site, that could hurt it
