Hi everyone,
Just submitted my first article since my little sabbatical for the last 8 weeks. It was a nice break to refresh my eyes and mind from writing. Now I'm feeling the excitement that comes with submitting all over again. I also have started a novel (egads) that is a twist on traditional Chick Lit, mainly for me, my friends, and family members I regularly swap Kinsella and Meyers books with.
The pregnancy is doing great. I've made it to 11 weeks, so 4 more days and the major risk of miscarriage will be behind me. We've seen Little Bump on the ultrasound, and the little fluttering heart activity. My husband keeps calling the baby Bartholomew Vladimir, just to get a rise out of me. I have told him to stop it, or else when I'm post-delivery and it's time to sign the birth certificate, I will be so emotionally attached to the stupid name, we will end up with a Bart Vlad. Ugh, it really is a horrible name. My apologies out there to anyone with it.
So here's fingers crossed my first piece sells quickly. In the meantime, I will try to catch up on all the changes around here. :)
Always Smiling,
Elizabeth Ann West
