Customer Contact

Hello:

As everyone here knows, customer requests, have a link to contact them should the interested writer have questions pertaining to the request. I clicked on the link within the email and send my inquiry to the customer but did not receive a response and that was over 2 weeks ago. Any suggestions.

It's not unusual to never receive a reply :( After this long with no reply, I'd assume that the request has been filled and move on.

Thanks for the reply. I notice that when you clink on the details link, the request has an expiration date, are writers notified when a request has been filled prior to that date?

No. It is removed from the Requested Content list.

Hello:

Once an article written for a public request has been approved, should the writer send the article to the requester?

If you select the request that the article is for during the submission process, the article is automatically sent to the requester once it is approved. Simply click the check box that asks if the submission is for a request and then select the appropriate request from the list that appears.

Thanks Celeste. Sometimes selecting the correct category to go with your article content isn't easy. Will requesters have a difficult time finding content on their request if it's categorized incorrectly?

No, because they get an email with a link to the content. So if you wrote to a request titled "ABC" and categorized it in the "123" category, as long as you select the "ABC" request from the drop down list when submitting, the customer will receive an email with a link. All he needs to do is click the link and your article will appear, regardless of which category you selected.
