Anyone else getting spam in their CC inbox referring you to Get a Freelancer using an affiliate link?

Sample:
From Customer Writeronly
To Author Celeste Stewart

Wanted more Freelancing Job, register through this link:- ****** blocked because I don't want to help the spammer *****

I received two this morning - same affiliate link, different user name. First one from "Author Atech," second one from "Customer Writeronly."

Annoying.

I've just received a message from the same Writeronly person and it included a GetaFreelancer link so I'm assuming it will be the same as yours.

Celeste,

I feel for you! The spammers are even hitting the thread denouncing them. Too bad you have to spend precious writing time deleting all their inanity.

Anyone know the statistics on how effective spamming on forums, email, web comments, etc. is? I'd be really curious to know if it's wroth the time and money these unbelievably annoying people put into it.

I wish there were a way for us to help hide the posts! I'm on these forums more than is probably healthy and I often see the posts as they're coming in. Stupid spammers. They should be locked in a room and forced to watch the My Little Pony movie for a couple years straight, if you ask me.
