New AC Author with Copyright Infringement

Check out this page -

One of my articles is there. It had been purchased for usage rights only, but since the ending of the article is missing, I suspect this author is not the buyer. I contacted support when I found it but haven't heard back yet, so I've just written to AC to ask for it to be withdrawn.
I think support must be inundated with requests from us to deal with all the copyright infringements at the moment.

Nice find. I only saw 4 articles up so far. I don't recognize the titles though.

CC has developed a "relationship" of sorts with AC, so it shouldn't take long. The process of getting illegally reproduced content removed from a website is usually a lengthier process. The MDCA (Millennium Digital Copyright Act) states that a complaint must be accompanied with a physical notice of infringement signed by the copyright owner or authorized representative. All in all, It's been easier to notify CC support than to try and do it on my own. They'll get it done, don't you worry.

I'm seeing the message, "This Contributor is inactive" when I click the link, so I take it the issue has been addressed and the thief is no more. Nice work all
It's great to see problems such as these can be quickly resolved.

Another AC author that's stealing CC articles.
http://www.associatedcontent.com/user/6 ... silva.html
There's only three articles, but odds are the other two are also stolen.
...
My stolen article is called "Conserving Water in the Kitchen" and the links to it are:

I just finished sending an email to AC about the stolen articles, so hopefully we'll see some progress soon
Update:
AC has already emailed me back and removed the content
And it only took 3 minutes between sending the email, and banning that thief!

Hmmm, that's strange that you're article still shows up. I thought they had taken it all down because when I click on the link to her profile, I just get the message "This Contributor is inactive." Strange. Perhaps you should fire off an email about your article still being there.

I also noticed that - and have just mailed them - through the form mail. Have also mailed support.
Nessie and Debbi, thanks for the heads up.

You can directly contact AC's Copyright Infringement Agent as well. This is what I did and they got back to me almost immediately. For more info:
