here is the link if you want to check for your titles. I have already emailed support about mine.

Love the "Free Atricle" header - sheesh! Then one of the site's "atricles" is titled, "Dealing with Jerks." LOL. It's so pathetic that it makes me laugh. If you're going to be a content stealing jerk, the least you can do is spell atricle (or is that article?) correctly.

Thanks for the link Audra!
I didn't find any of mine, but I do suggest others check because quite a few articles sounded familiar!
Hayley
P.S. Celeste, you are so right - the spelling errors just add insult to injury by the "atricle" thief!

OMG I rofl'd at the Google theme image with misspelled article. hahaha What a moron.
I recognize the Cloud computing one and I think the "Which iPod is Right for Me" article in technology.

I thought I recognised one of Sherry's articles and look what I found in the middle of the article
"This article is property of Constant Content Writer nichewriter and is being
printed here without the author's permission." It was one on the savvy home business owner.

Nice. So it was a buyer? That only comes up on buyer submissions, correct? You can't copy/paste in the article view as far as I know. Which buyer is it?

It's "hidden" text so that if anyone copies and pastes the text without paying attention they will get burned with the message and writers can be notified via Google Alerts (if set up) that the phrase is appearing somewhere. Buyers do not have to worry about this phrase appearing because they get the original document.

Celeste,
But if you try to highlight article text from the "View Article" page, you can't do it. It's in the style sheet or it's an image, I think? That's why I'm assuming that this was a buyer for a public request or someone who edited the local browser page and removed the style to copy/paste.

The average computer user can't copy and paste the text - but it's not impossible with the right tools. Making the text uncopyable is a deterrent but people were still copying and pasting. So, CC added the hidden text as an added layer of deterrence and a way to hopefully find the culprits via Google alerts. The hidden text only appears (hidden of course) on the display of the article. It is not within the text itself. You can check by going into Edit on one of your articles. You will not find the phrase in the body of your article.

Thanks for the link, Audra, and for the spot, Cany - ironically, that Savvy Home Business Owner article was bought by my usual customer the same day this thief posted it on his awful site. I don't seem to have any other articles stolen, but I saw one by Cecily Page. Even if the article's already been bought, I'll contact CC support.
Thanks, and I hope you all have a great week writing this week!
Best,
~Sherry

Sorry to hear about it, Hayley. That truly sucks. DP sounds/looks like an article thief's playground
