HELP!

Post by Volante »

hey guys i'm relatively new here at constant content (still waiting for my first article to be reviewed)!
I've got a question. May i know what does the purchase rating indicate in the public requests section?

Another query i have is regarding the no. of hits i get. My first article is still under review and it has 4 hits. What is the significance of this?

Would really appreciate it if someone could enlighten me. Thanks in advance :)

Welcome to CC!

The purchase rating is the number of articles that customer has bought. So a customer with a 12 purchase rating has bought 12 articles, a customer with a 100 purchase rating has bought 100, etc.

If an article is still under review, customers can't see it. So the hits your article has received most likely comes from you. I believe when you go in to review your article - to check that all the spacing turned out right before Ed sees it - it shows as one hit.

Or 4 hits if you looked at the article 4 times. To prove it, hit "edit" and open the article again. You will go to 5 hits.

The next question is why so many hits after you are published? Other authors check out articles and add to the hit count. I had an article on the main page for awhile and it got over 30 hits but I suspect most are from other authors checking out my article written for a public request.
