Are we expected to do our own keywrod research?

Hi, since I'm new and have only just submitted my first article, I'm trying to a feel for the site and what's required from writers. One question that crossed my mind is whether writers are expected to do their own keyword research? I have no problem with doing it and I did so for my first article, it's just a very different platform here than I'm used to.

Hi,
You can if you want but you don't have to. Some of the articles wind up in print or newsletters where keywords are not an issue. I don't overly worry about keyword writing here unless a customer specifies certain words.
