Daniel Moss, if you're on the forums, know that you've just created a sensational piece. Your erudite assessment of subpar pseudo-intellectual claptrap in indeed accurate.

You forgot to mention cliches! They're my personal favorite.

Awesome article! I just hope that he didn't write that after reading one of my samples.

Hi all. Thanks for all your positive comments. It's nice to get such unexpected support! I'm still finding my feet here, so I really appreciate the time you took to send your posts. It helps to know you're not alone, especially after the few depressing days I've had of writing zilch. I guess I'm not alone in this regard. Regards, Dan. PS Gouldm80: don't worry, it was nothing to do with your articles...

*deep sigh of relief*...I was worried for a minute there. lol
Dan, just some advice/a pick-me-up for you. I started writing on this site last month on the 11th and didn't sell my first article until about a week ago. Since then I've sold 4 more. Before my first one sold I'd already written 28 and was beginning to think that maybe I'd wasted my time. Then that first one sold and the floodgates were opened. I don't say this to toot my own horn, but to encourage you to stick with it and eventually you'll be rewarded. Besides, anyone who can write as clever of a piece as what you orchestrated has got to have some writing talent.
I wish you luck. I'm sure you'll do well as long as you keep your head in the right place. :)
