A UK/US English Question
When I'm using a US English spellchecker (rather than my native UK speak), I keep getting a wavy red line under the word 'learnt'. It disappears if I change the word to 'learned'. Is 'learnt' not used in US English? It's coming up a lot in what I'm doing for a private request so I'd welcome some advice from someone.

Re: A UK/US English Question
We use learned in US English. Past tense of learn. Good luck!

Thanks Judith.
Re: A UK/US English Question
In the US when people say "learnt" it's usually in a sentence like this: The youngins' went and learnt some rithamic at that there school house over yonder.
