How well does everyone think poetry sells here? Is it worth submitting poems?

Poetry really doesn't sell.
As an editor, I can't discourage it, but I don 't encourage it, either. There are better outlets for poetry on the web and even in print.

Well............it wouldn't hurt to put a poetic spin at the end of an essay would it? like you hear those catchy slogans on commercials on the TV?
