Misty,
I followed your link for "writers against low pay" in your signature, but it goes to a page not found.
Wondering what you have mobilized on that front. :)

About the high-paying magazine...

If I've ever given any good advice in my life, this is it. Order the 2006 Writer's Market book from Amazon, it is about $30 but it is so worth it! Plus you get a one years subscription to the writersmarket site with the purchase.

There are 1000's of high paying markets, if you can write then you can write a query letter too.

(Is there website for that link that's not working?)

I've tried the online Writer's Market site various times over the years--their search doesn't seem to be very good and their customer service is lacking. Of course, it may be just me. The book is more reliable by far.
