Formatting question

I have an article relating to animal care. The article includes preventative measures for a particular illness in point form. Normally I would bullet or number the list but CC understandably doesn't allow for that sort of formatting. Using plain text, how best can I make it clear the measures are a list rather than them looking like short paragraphs?

Isildae,
Unless I "missed something" -- you CAN use bulleted list. I use them often in my articles. Why do you think you can not?
I hope I am not misleading you, but I have used them.

Our guidelines don't say anything about not using bulleted lists. Just format consistently within an article, and you'll be fine.

Thanks for your responses. I read the following: This consists of single spaced lines, no indentations and a double space between paragraphs.

and figured that bullets would both include indentations and be classed as special formatting. I viewed a number of other articles with similar advice style lists and could not find any that contained bullets so assumed they were restricted. I have since submitted the article without bullets so I guess I'll wait and see how it goes.
