Feedback on topic suggestions

I am both a writer & website owner. And I wanted to throw some suggestions and/or inside info since I walk both sides of the fence.
I own 2 lingerie websites and the search engines will never pick me up on a general term such as lingerie, panties or bras so these subjects need to be refined down to more specific terms. for example Crotchless panties, Sheer lingerie, plus size garterbelts, etc..
If you were doing a fashion review instead of doing an overall fashion review do a specific brand(not all article buyers will have all the styles in a full all over the board fashion review).
A way to do a quick research on which brand to use . search for lingerie manufacturers
then take the manufacturers name and do a quick search and you will see how many websites are offering that brand name and there you will see how may webmasters are trying to maket that product( to see if your potential customer base is there).
Here are a couple of manufacturer websites so you can see how easy they would be to review.

http://www.legavenue.com
I know most of you are going to laugh at this but I have been in the lingerie business now for almost 4 years and about 60% of my customers are straight men buying lingerie for themselves and would love to see a public awareness or acceptance article on this topic-it is huge you really would be supprised.
I know my comments are very specific to the lingerie industry but was hoping it would give you inspiration to think a little more specific or outside the box to meet the needs of the small business person.
other services that may be beneficial is specific website reviews for webmasters and press releases
Thank you

Yes was just hoping to help people realize the way the web is evolving people are searching and marketing terms. that are less general It is kind of funny though.
Instead of sexy lingerie I have to market "super hot & sexy lingerie, lol"
Most of you probably know but
www.wordtracker.com has a weekly top 500 keyword report for the internet.
I also think that the prices for articles here are way reasonable.

Just to add my two cents in....
The request system is made just for this. If someone is looking for a specific articles using certain keywords, this is where the request system would be perfect. The more information you give in the request the more the writers will learn what you are looking for and write on the style and structure your looking for.
A great example would be the "Automotive Request". At first this requester asked for articles on anything automotive related but after many submissions that were not what they were looking for, the request added submissions information. They not only gave examples of articles and titles, but explained the type of writing they were looking for. Since then they have picked up many articles.
Many of the writers are not going to write on subject unless they know someone is looking for them.
about the 2 cents

I am a potential customer. I did not go to the request system form for 2 reasons.
I. I did not see anything similar to what I need posted on you website.
2. I did not want feel obligated to purchase something someone worked very hard on to suit my needs and it is not quite right.
"Since this is an Auther and Customer Forum" I thought my insight may be appreciated. Most businesses are greatfull to find out who their customer is, or target audience is. I know my topic was specific to my feild but thought the information could be applied across the board.
P.S. I am sorry for posting my links realized I probably shouldn't have after posting-won't again
P.P.S. Spell check please or is it here and I somehow missed it

Ladystrange,
By all means--make a request. There are people who request and end up not buying anything, then there are others who grab up every article written for their request. The writers here know it's no guarantee there's going to be a sale, but we're always up for the challenge. Try your luck, and we'll try ours.
Thanks,
DE
Thank you again Dorothy

Hi ladystrange!
I just love that name and I guess if you've read any posts around here...you'll know that names are big with me for some reason.
I'm glad that you've joined in our discussions even though I believe I got in a little late on the article submissions...that's ok I'm sure you'll have more one day.
I have to admit something...I once worked at a strip club, please don't anyone ask questions!! LOL
There was a client that just loved to wear women's lingerie and of course he had a favorite dancer that he loved. These two would play dress up, literally in the private dance area and he would tip me $50 to 'catch them'.
I had to say, "Oh you bad boy! Take that dress off now!" and then walk out. A little wierd?...yeah. So, I believe what you're saying no doubt!!

I liked your article too

I give mine away for site promotion. But i want to keep fresh content on my sites.I posted my first couple on
http://ezinearticles.com/ today to see if it drives any traffic my way. I just realized by doing that I made my site kinda old news. Trial an error I guess

Hey Ladystrange!
Promotion via article promotion does work...sometimes. I wrote 3 promotional articles for a customer that did a redesign of his website and just two weeks after the articles went into circulation he gained 100 new sign ups! His web stats showed that a lot of those had to have came from those free articles.
You just have to find the right angle so that other people want to include that on their websites though, that's the hard part.
I have to go pick up the kids from school but I do have some topic ideas that I'll post for you, every idea counts even if it's not the right one...it can lead that way.
SeeULater!
LJ
thanks

Okay, this is just off the top of my head but it seems that you want to target women, women who will buy lingerie so the type of woman that buys lingerie is the target if you're following me here.
So who is she? Better yet, where does she visit and what sites does she visit that depend on some free content from those free article sites? Usually free content seekers aren't too choose...blessed we are for that!
Topics:
Lingerie & The Famed Women Who Wear It!
* Focus on some celebrities who have been known to trot sporting some hot lingerie is one way.
Lingerie: The Untold Truth!
* Focus on some conspiracy or bad news in the industry, how some websites or retailers have ripped off customers featuring lingerie manufactured in hot houses (child laborers) in Malaysia or somewhere.
You get my point, I could go on and on...I tend to be longwinded, sorry.
Just a few ideas, hopefully someone else will contribute some good angles too!
Peace Out!
LJ

The articles I am buying here are for my websites content here, I am not going to give these away unless at sometime later I need freshercontent.
My audience is the end customer, and want articles that apeall to their emotions reservations and that we have stuff to suit their needs whatever they maybe . I want this from different perspectives-different strokes-for different folks
They come to my site already interested in buying lingerie. I just need articles that confirm that they are making a good choice & that our products will give them the outcome they desire by appealing to their emotions & confirming that we understand them
Part of it too is I am trying different things to get the customer to hang out- the longer they sstay the more chace they will buy
