I was hoping to chat with an illustrator about their experiences (here and in general) but the illustrator forum is empty. Is this a new branch of C-C or have all the illustrators been abducted by aliens?
The illustration section is a new addition to CC, and they have not really started selling illustrations yet. But you could always post on the illustration thread, I am sure there will be replies from illustrators who are waiting to submit their work here
