question about .txt format

I'm writing some articles for a pool order requesting .txt format. I've sent a request for info, but I thought that I'd post here as well, since some of you may be working on the same order.

Does submitting an article in .txt format mean plain old "text only", with no bold characters, formatting, hyperlinks etc? Or do you think they're looking for "rich text format"? I'm about to submit in plain old "text only", but I'm hesitating.

Thanks for your thoughts!

Hi stelle,

A format that's in .txt format is specifically text-only. Any special formatting is left out.

Rich-text format saves with the .rtf file extension.

Hope that helps!

Thanks, that does help! I've submitted them as plain old .txt. They're just so...ugly. Ha!
