Though Canadian Thanksgiving is in October and I've already enjoyed my turkey dinner, I would like to wish all of my US colleagues a Happy Thanksgiving.
Even though it is not our Thanksgiving, we can give thanks everyday for the things we have. I am thankful for:
* The salvation of Christ
* My grandsons who give me inspiration and allow me to see the world through their eyes.
* My mother who is 78 years old and in good health.
* For not being hungry.
* For all of my online friends and writing colleagues.
* For the talent that God has given me that enables me to enjoy the necessities of life.
* For good health.
* For the love of family and good friends.
Happy Thanksgiving

Happy Thanksgiving to everyone here at CC! I hope you all had a great day yesterday! I always find that when I'm having a bad day, if I take a moment to think about just a few of the things I'm thankful for, it makes a world of difference in the way I feel. For me, Thanksgiving is always a big reminder of all of the reasons I have to be thankful:
- God's grace, without which I don't think my thankful list could be so long
- my husband, my daughter, and the rest of my family, and the wonderful friendship I enjoy sharing with all of them
- having all our basic needs fulfilled and beyond
- being able to earn a living from writing, and especially for a place like CC, which gives me an outlet to do so
Happy Thanksgiving!

Well, it's good to know that Thanksgiving is doing what it's supposed to do--remind us why we're Thankful. My sister and I were wondering if it was just another amorphous commercial holiday!
I'm thankful for:
*Finally being able to take care of myself so I can help others
*Repairing past relationships that have been damaged
*A quiet, comfortable, affordable place to live
*Old friends who are family, and current ones who will be family
*Wisdom from making many mistakes
*Sanity after much soul-searching
*Taking each day as it comes without the constant fear of failure
*For my job and (the people at)CC, without which I wouldn't feel so comfortable in my own, writerly skin, and without which I wouldn't have the necessary confidence to look hopefully towards tomorrow
Hope everyone has a safe, relaxing weekend!

Wow, I have so many things to be thankful for! I'll start right at the top of the list.
1. I thank God for showing me that he's always been by my side and I'm thankful that I'm able to see that.
2. I'm thankful that my seven year old son is found! This is the first Thanksgiving that he's ever shared with me. (His dad abducted him to a foreign country/ I just got him back on Valentines Day after 4 long years)
3. I'm thankful that my heart is finally being repaired after so many years of feeling that I wasn't complete, now I feel complete.
4. I'm thankful that I have a good husband!
5. I'm thankful that everyone around is doing good.
6. I'm thankful for my home, my family, my health and my children's health.
7. I'm thankful for my quality of life, so many people in the world suffer everyday and I'm truly blessed to have it as easy as I do!
8. I'm thankful to be an American.
9. I'm thankful to work from home and provide my family with a good, legitimate source of income.
10. I'm thankful for everything!
Good one
