sustainability

Ed - thanks for the ideas you suggest for articles today. Lots of food for thought.

I tried to post a comment to the blog but wasn't able to log in - any tips about that (user name?)?

Thanks again.

If I recall, you have to create an account to comment on the blog. I can't remember but I think that's what I had to do.

At your advanced age (now I see Helen Hayes), I can see why you have trouble remembering things.

Oh dear, not the one pictured here:

Gawd, even I am not that mean (at least until I know you better).

I was thinking more along these lines

Also, if you go to Ed's blog, scroll down the page and look on the left hand side of the screen. You'll see a section called "Meta." Just below that, there's a link that says "register." You need to register to make comments on the blog.

Thanks, Celeste.

Now are you starting to realize the extent of my psychic powers? I may not have a clue what "meta" means, but I just knew there was a photo out in cyberspace of my "Celeste" vision complete with bun & pearls.

[Nodding my head smugly.]

Anyone want to go for a beer after work tonight?

Maybe you could write an article about breweries that incorporate sustainability. I wonder if any companies that produce gin do? I'd like to know martinis are contributing to a sustainable environment.

Even if no one writes about sustainability (though it would be cool if they did), it's certainly a hot topic that's worth considering. I'm going to try including more "weekend writing ideas" into the blog as a way of encouraging trend awareness, exposing niche topics that might (nevertheless) be useful for a mixed audience, and making suggestions to fill wholes in Constant Content's coverage. We'll see how it goes. Sometimes coming up with a topic is half the work, and if someone offers a prompt, the research and writing comes quite easily.

"Sometimes coming up with a topic is half the work.."

Oh how true is that! I've been waiting for public requests to get me going, but they're been a bit thin on the ground lately...

I like your idea for weekend writing prompts, Ed! I think you're right on with the sustainability topic.

Possible article

I recently completed a research project on sustainability. You'd be suprised at the number of people who couldn't pronounce it, let alone knew what it was! Wonder if I can turn that into an article...

Great ideas Ed.

Inspiration is truly needed as some of us need a spark to start the writing process.

I hate it when I wake up in the morning, decide to write something original then look into that vast area two centimeters behind my forehead and nothing sprouts.

Role on public requests....

If any of you are interested in sustainability beyond its potential to produce article ideas, this is a pretty good video about how harmful U.S. consumerism is.

Warning: Somewhat political.

I started an article on permaculture over a year ago. Hmmmm...wonder where it is? I think permaculture is related to sustainability. I love the writing prompt idea!
