Oooh, my turn to ask! What are you all planning this week? Last week looked like a good sales week for CC.
This morning I wrote a couple font articles, they sure sold like hotcakes last night and I guess the customer needs a few more. I wish I would've motivated myself yesterday to write a few but c'est la vie! Congrats to all of you who got your articles posted and sold so quickly!
Probably do a few computer articles too.

I could make a killing if I could only write, I see all the requests before they are approved

As it stands, you wouldn't get past the editing phase.
Better let others make the killing.

Hi everyone,
I'm feeling happy because another one of my articles has just sold! You know a lot about many things, Celeste!
Sometimes I am not sure about whether to answer requests or not, if I feel that I have to start from scratch and they're difficult. What do others think?
Best Regards,
Lisa

Don't you like that happy feeling!
No, I don't necessarily know a lot about many things but I can certainly find out by researching and report my findings through writing! Of course, I tend to go for articles that I have some knowledge or interest in
Some requests are easier than others, if it's a topic that's interesting to me and the pay range is reasonable, I'll go for it but if it's something out of my league or 2000 words for $10 - I'll pass. Like video games, I wouldn't have a clue nor the interest and that wouldn't be fair to anyone to write about something that holds no interest to me. I can imagine the final product would be pretty lame coming from me!

Hi Celeste,
Another one sold today so I'm having a good week here. I see what you mean about video games! I am quite interested in fonts but I'd have to start from scratch which would be a lot of work. Maybe I'll find out more about them and hope for another request some time!
I've often wondered about trying some book reviews. Some have sold lately and I like doing them.
Do you have a website at all? I'd love to see it.
Best Regards,
Lisa

Congrats on another sale! I did a movie review after taking my daughter to see Curious George a few weeks ago and was surprised at how fast that one sold! It was a breeze to write, I imagine book reviews would be fun too. You never know, write it and see what happens!

Well Lisa, I had a blog but it's not writer related, so I went ahead and took the plunge to make a writing blog.
Here it is:

Not much there yet (obviously since I just started it yesterday!) but I'm hoping to stick to it - so we'll see!

I'm not sure what area I am going to write in next. There are a few ideas running around in my head at the moment but nothing for definite yet. What do you guys think is selling really well atm, other than font related articles that is?

Italy has been a hot topic but I haven't been able to come up with anything Italian that I know enough about! Drat, sometimes a request just isn't quite a match.
I've seen lots of quotes selling and am guessing that's a private request but not sure on that either!
I have a small case of writer's block going on, but then again, I'm a tad distracted with a baby coming any day now!

Lol, I agree completely.
Right now I have major writer's block with everything being so busy at the moment. I hope it will go away soon =/.
