January Writer Update
Posted: Wed Jan 30, 2019 12:47 pm
Hi everyone, Shari and Isaac from the Constant Content team here. We’re back again with the first writer update of 2019!
As we kick off the new year, we wanted to remind writers to update your profile with all your great achievements from 2018! Having an in-depth and up-to-date bio helps clients find your profile and portfolio of content.
News
In light of the recent issue with some content being stolen, we are making a platform update to the way clients can preview catalog content.
Going forward, writers will not be able to set their summary length to more than 75%. We are also removing the ability for trusted clients to preview 100% of an article before buying.
How does this impact you?
1. If your default summary length was set to 100%, then it will change to 75%.
2. By limiting the ability for people to see a full article, it’s less likely for content to be stolen from our platform.
A 75% view of the article should be enough for a buyer to make an informed decision of whether or not to purchase it.
To help, we also put together an article on how writers can find and take down stolen content. There’s a link at the bottom of this post if you want to check it out.
Top Writers
We also wanted to give a special shout out to our top writers for January. In no particular order, the top 10 writers for January were:
• Sara Dueck
• CarlyReynolds
• Writerredd
• Christopher Godwin
• Hired Gun Writing
• Eva Kurilova
• Rachel Moran
• Beconrad
• Pheonix Griffin
• Kathleen Wilson
Great work!
